Unlike standard craft paints, this formula is engineered to penetrate the surface of leather, vinyl, and canvas, creating a permanent bond that remains flexible after drying. This ensures that the Gift Box Blue pigment can withstand the natural mechanical stress and constant flexing of footwear without losing adhesion or developing surface cracks.

To achieve optimal results, the leather must be prepped with a deglazer to remove the factory topcoat, allowing the paint to bond directly to the material. Applying the paint in multiple thin layers, rather than one thick coat, promotes a smooth, level finish and prevents the pigment from peeling. Once fully cured over a 24-hour period, the Gift Box Blue finish becomes entirely waterproof and provides an industrial-strength barrier against scuffs and environmental wear.
